Disability Discrimination and Harassment

Disability Discrimination and Harassment

Disability is a “protected class” under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. Individuals with a disability have a right to “reasonable accommodation” under the law. However, not every injury or illness is considered a “disability” under Minnesota law.

Example: Dismissing an employee for disability-related absences.

If you have experienced or are experiencing disability discrimination at work, contact Bertelson Law Offices at (612) 278-9832 to discuss what claims you may have.
